1. Terms of reference and membership
It was noted that the British National committee on Space Reserch at its meeting on 30 October 1959 set up a University projects Expenditure Subcommittee with the following membership and terms of reference;
Membership; Mr P D Greenall, chairman; Professor P A Sheppard; Dr D C Martin and their advisers
Terms of reference; (i) To process all applications for grants to British Universities in connexion with the accounting procedures of the D.S.I.R. and (ii) To report to the British National Committee on Space Research

3b Next Financial Year

4. Applications for Space Research Grants

5. Immediate payment of grants

7. Next meeting
It was agreed to hold the next meeting in the third week of January to consider the applications received by then.
