It was reported that the British National Committee on Space Research at its meeting held on 8 March 1960 confirmed the setting up of a UK Scout I Working Group of the Design of Experiments Subcommittee with the following terms of reference; 1. To initiate all the necessary action in connection with the experiments to be launched in UK Scout satellite I 2. To report to the Design of Experiments Subcommittee of the British National Committee on Space Research.
Membership of the Group is as follows; Mr M O Robins (Chairman); Dr R L F Boyd; Dr H Elliot; Professor J Sayers; Dr A P Willmore; other members being co-opted as and when necessary
