1. Membership and Terms of Reference
It was reported that the British National Committee on Space Research had set up a Design of Experiments Subcommittee in May 1959 but no meetings had been called.
It was reported that the Subcommittee structure was now being revised and a paper (NCSP/67 (61)) setting out the membership, terms of refernce and responsibilities of the Subcommitte and its working groups was noted.

The terms of reference of the Design of Experiments Subcommittee are;
(1) To consider all proposals made by UK scientists for inclusion in rockets, satellites and other space reserch vehicles and to consider arrangements whereby such proposals may be implemented.
(2) To report to the British National Committee on Space Research
