DescriptionInforms Foster 'that Dr Castellani has found a germ to be the cause of Sleeping Sickness' -- describes the importance of the discovery and has recommended that Castellani write a report 'as the credit of the discovery is entirely due' to him; describes the failure of previous investigations that attempted to connect the disease to filaria [roundworms] -- will consult with Colonel Sadler and Dr Moffat on best ways of isolating infected individuals -- proposes to return to England -- does not feel it necessary to continue research to the West or North. p19.
