Matters discussed;
1. Read minute of Council of 4 December 1924 appointing the Committee

2. Read letter from the British Association, of 10 December 1924, ' forwarding resolutions of Sections C, D, H, I, J, K, and M with regard to the proposed International Service of Biological Abstracts. It was agreed that the resolutions be circulated to the Committee and that the British Association be asked to forward for the information of the Committee a copy of the general resolution embodying these recommendations, which, it was understood, had been passed by their General Committee at Toronto.'

3. Letter read from Sir Sidney Harmer, of 2 December 1924 giving the views of the Zoological Record Association with regard to the scheme.

4. Agreed to ask Professor McClung for any further information regarding details of the scheme he might be able to furnish

5. Agreed letters be sent asking for a memorandum to be submitted showing whether they are generally in favour of the scheme and if so, on what lines they would wish to co-operate, with a further request that any information regarding their own publications would be welcome, to the Physiological Society, Biochemical society, Zoological Society, Linnean Society, Entomological Society, R. Microscopical Society, and Zoological Record Association. Also agreed these societies be invited to appoint not more than two representatives to give evidence before the Committee.

6. Chairman undertook to ascertain whether the Imperial Brueaus of Entomology and Mycology would be prepared to send memoranda and appoint representatives to give evidence.
