Matters discussed;
1. Read and signed minutes of previous meeting

2. Suggestions discussed at previous meeting were further considered, and it was moved by Professor Armstrong, seconded by the Treasurer, and unanimously agreed; That any Committees that might be formed upon the recommendations of this Committee should have no executive powers.

3. After further discussion regarding the constitution and number of Sectional Committees it was moved by Dr Thorpe, seconded by Professor Turner, 'that after careful discussion of the whole subject, this Committee does not see any chance of a satisfactory working scheme on the lines suggested, Whereupon it was moved an an amendment by Professor Armstrong, seconded by Professor Larmor, ' that it be recommended to the Council to amend the Standing Orders by withdrawing the restriction contained in the last five lines fo Standing Order 11. The amendment having been put to the vote, there voted for the amendment, 6; and against the amendment 4. Whereupon the amendment was put as a substantive motion and carried by 7 votes to 2. '

4. Committee adjourned until Friday 27 March to consider as to a Report to be presented to the Council.
