Description | States the Royal Society is anxious to protect the efficiency of those Laboratories which are or may be employed in scientific investigations in connexion with the war. It is creating a definite scheme, and is in communication with the authorities as to the arrangements necessary to secure this end. They are therefore instructed by the Royal Society to ask for two lists - a. Of those actually engaged on scientific work in connexion with the war, including skilled laboratory assistants, and whose services they regard as indispensable. b Of those who may reasonably be expected to come under this category in the immediate future.
Lists are being asked from the Universities, University Colleges, and Technical Schools recognized by the Universities.
