1. Read and signed minutes of previous meeting

2. Letter issued by the Board of Education to Universities, Colleges etc throughout the country concerning the 'Special provision respecting advanced students of Science and Technology' communicated by the President to the Committee [Printed copy of the letter pasted into the minutes]

3. Correspondence following Professor Schuster's interview with Professor Adams of the War Badges Department presented to the Committee in which the Department agrees to issue badges [Copies of both letters pasted into minutes]

4. Professor Schuster reported the sending of a letter to the Reserved Occupations Committee concerning the danger threatening the scientific war work now carried on in many University laboratories owing to the recruitment of the scientific staff engaged in such work, to which only a formal reply had been received [copy of letter pasted into the minutes]
