Discussed providing information on hotel accomodation in London to delegates, and Professor Watts undertook to communicate with suitable hotels before preparing a list

Temporary membership of London clubs - President reported the Committee of the Athenaeum Club agreed to offer hospitality to 50 strangers during the celebration week. Members present undertook to make enquiriea with regard to the Savile Club.

Letter read from Mr Veley, Chairman of the Directors of the Halcyon Club, Cork Street, offereing honorary temporary membership to any ladies accompanying delegates, and to the gentlemen as guests.

Letter read from the Secretary of the Royal Societies Club in St James's Street, offering temporary honorary membership to the delegates and reqesting list of delegates. Agreed to forward the list when complete.

Private hospitality to delegates - agreed that a notice be sent to all the Fellows of the Society in London informing them that certain Fellows had already expessed a wish to entertain delegates at their houses, and asking for notification of any similar intentions to be made to the Royal Society as soon as possible, with indications of any preference for married or single guests respectively, and any preferences in the matter of language and pursuits. Further agreed that any Fellow who has already arranged to entertain a delegate be requested to notify it to the Royal Society.
