Matters discussed;
1. Minute of Council of 12 December 1901 appointing the Committee read by Chairman

2. Letter read from Professor Darboux, President of the General Assembly of the International Association for 1901, formally handing over the powers of the Directing Academy for the ensuing three years to the Royal Society, and forwarding correspondence which had passed between the Academy of Sciences at Paris and the Royal Academy of Berlin on the question of the publication of the works of Leibnitz.

3. Receipt of letterf mentioned by Chairman from the Royal academy of Science, Berlin, nominating Profesor Diels and Professor Waldeyer; the Royal Society of Science, Gottingen, nominating Dr Ehlers and Dr Leo; the Royal Swedish Academy, Stockholm nominating Professor Retzius; and the Royal Danish Academy, Copenhagen, nominating Professor Zeuthen and Professor Heiberg as their representatives on the International Council.

4. After considering the organisation desirable for the purpose of enabling the Royal Society to carry on the duties of the Directing academy, it was agreed to make recommendations to the Council. [Listed in minutes]

5. Agreed that in the event of Council adopting their recommendations a Sub-Committee be appointed consisting of Sir Michael Foster, Dr Larmor, and Dr Waller, to consider and report to the Committee upon a memorandum presented by Professor Marey as Chairman of Special Committee of the International Association "pour le controle des instruments enregistreurs et l'unification des methodes en Physiiologie."
