2. Discussed expenses of the delegates to the forthcoming Brussels meeting
3. Discussed appointment of delegates - for Geodesy and Geophysics, choice by National Committee for Geophysics; for Astronomy, choice to the National Committee for Astronomy; for Chemistry, choice by the Federal Council for Pure and Applied Chemistry; for Engineering, Sir Dugald Clerk, Sir Robert Hadfield and Mr James Swinbourne to be appointed, and it was further resolved to ask the British Engineering Standards Association to nominate a representative; for Biology, Professor C Sherrington and Professor E H STarling, and delegastes for Zoology referred to Professor Schuster and Mr Hardy. Also reported by Professor Schuster that 'the question of an International Council for the investigation of the North Sea Fisheries was likely to be discussed at the Brussels meeting; that the Board of Fisheries had recently appointed a Committee with Mr Hardy as Chairman to consider the subject; and that a representative of this Committee would probably attend the Brussels meeting.
