1. Read and signed minutes of previous meeting

2. Read minute of Council of the Royal Society of 1 May, 1902, item 5, regarding a grant of £50 from the Donation Fund to Professor Marey from the Society in its private capacity and not as a consitutent Academy of the International Association

3. Read replies from the International Council to a commuinication sent by the Chairman in accordance with resolutions Nos. 3 and 4 passed at the previous meeting of the Committee.

4. Considered and discussed date of the meeting of the General Assembly in 1904, and proposed by Sir Norman Lockyer, seconded by Mr Kempe, that the meeting be held at Whitsuntifde 1904

5. Reported by chairman that a letter with reference to a proposed International Seismological Conference had been addressed to members of the International Council of the Association of Academies. Copy of letter (printed) pasted into minutes, also with list of replies received from the Academy of Sciences, France; Kunigliche Preussiche Akademie, Berlin; Royal Bavarian Academy of Sciences, Munich; Royal Saxon Society of Sciences, Leipzig; Royal Society of Sciences, Gottingen; Royal Accademia dei Lincei, Rome; Imperial Academy of Sciences, St Petersburg, Russia; Imperial Academy of Sciences, Vienna; Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Bupa-Pesth; Royal Swedish Academy, Stockholm; Royal Academy of Sciences, Amsterdam; Royal Danish academy of sciences, Copenhagen; Meteorological Inistitute, Christiania, Norway; National Academy of Sciences, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. It was therefore resolved - To recommend that the draft reply of the Royal Society be amended [printed copy of amended reply pasted into minutes]

6. Resolved 'That the International Council be summoned to meet at Burlington House at Whitsuntide, 1903, to consider, (inter alia) the question of the relations between the International Association and other existing Associations.'

7. Read correspondence concerning the admission of the Real academia de Ciensias of Madrid into the Association.
