DescriptionObrained by correspondence ' when it was agreed that Dr J F G Wheeler, Dr H B Moore and Mr E F Thompson were dey-workers, who must be retained in their own institutes.

A note by the honorary Secretary relative to the work on the Bermuda Oceanogrphic Programme was circulated for the information of the Committee, together with a Plankton Report by Dr H B Moore and notes by Professor Garstang and Mr F S Russell on the the four Bermuda Plankton Reports.

At the same time, a statement of accounts to 30 September 1939 together with the estimates for 1940-41 was circulated and approved by the Committee. '
