DescriptionObtained by correspondence in connexion with an application from Dr S Kemp on behalf of Mr E F Thompson for a grant to enable him to continue his work for the Bermuda Committee.

' Agreed to recommend that a grant of £345 be made from the Browne Fund to Mr Thompson for one year as from 1 November 1940, £45 of the grant being used to meet the charge to the Society on his existing superannuation policy on condition that Mr Thompson agreed to subscribe £22 - 10 - 0 [Twenty two pouinds and ten shillings] for the same purpose. '
