TitleLetter from E A Minchin to Professor Lankester, Chair of the Tropical Diseases Research Committee
Date30 January 1905
DescriptionAccepts most of the terms laid out in the letter from the Tropical Diseases Committee concerning his commission to Uganda -- could not comply with the demand that he is to leave 'not later than Feb 16' but would start as soon as possible after this date -- would like some more information as to what would be included as expenses, such as books, reagents and laboratory equipment -- would like to know if the Committee would pay for items such as clothing suitable for the Tropics. Is happy to hear that the Committee is to allow him an assistant. p28-29.
