DescriptionDescribes the new research on sleeping sickness indicating that the antelope can be a carrier of the disease without suffering effects, and so act as a 'reservoir' of the virus -- suggests that a Commission investigate the relation between the virus and other 'big game' -- is concerned that public pressure might call 'to exterminate the large animals known as big game' and notes there should be easy funds available as 'many wealthy people' are interested in the preservation of African fauna. p33-34.
