Lists Committee business, including the consideration of correspondence between Sir David Bruce and the Deputy-Governor of Zomba on the proposed Commission to study big game and sleeping sickness -- resolution to grant Sir David Bruce leave to attend the International Medical Congress in August, and to consult with the Lister Institute about providing him with experimental animals -- letter from Sir Patrick Mason on a case of [sleeping sickness] in Rhodesia [Zimbabwe] -- a report from H Lyndhurst Duke on the work at Mpumu, and a resolution to permit his new expedition while opposing the definitive closing of the lab -- letters from Miss Muriel Robertson outlining her work on the cycle of the tsetse fly in Mpumu, and plans for future investigations in Khartoum -- resolution concerning the publication of Dr Duke's and Miss Robertson's papers, and a decision not to recommend that the Colonial Office sanction Miss Robertson's proposal to proceed to Khartoum. p52-62.
