1. ' The Chairman explained that it had been suggested in Brussels, 1922, that the first meeting of the International Union of Pure and applied Physics should be held in Cambridge in 1923, but that this had subsequently been found to be impracticable
2. Attention was drawn to a letter from M Abraham, Secretary of the Union, (which had previously been circulated) in which it was suggested that the First Meeting of the Union might now take place in Paris in 1924, when the Societe de Physique would be holding an Anniversary Meeting. After discussion it was agreed that the Chairman should advise the Secretary of the Union that, so far as this Committee were concerned, a meeting in Paris in 1924, at the same time as the Anniversary Meeting would be satisfactory.
3. Discussion took place regarding the advisbility of a Physics Congress subsequently taking place in London, and it was agreed that should such a Congress take place, 1924 would be a suitable year in view of the British Empire Exhibition being held in 1924.
4. It was agreed that when the date and place of the First Meeting of the International Union were fixed, the Secretary of the Union should communicate with each member of the Executive Committee of the Union, requesting them to ascertain from their respective Societies if there were any matters they would like brought before the Union.
