TitleNational Committee for Physics
Date1923
DescriptionCommittee established following a suggestion in Brussels that the first meeting of the International Union of Pure and Applied Physicss should be held in Cambridge in 1923, but this found impracticable. Instead, following a letter from M Abraham, Secretary of the Union, it was suggested that the First Meeting shold take place in Paris in 1924, when the Society de Phusique would be holding an Anniversary Meeting. Agreed that this meeting in Paris in 1924 would be satisfactory.
