1. Minutes of previous meeting confirmed

2. Manuscript revision - a report presented by the Chairman; manuscript now completed except for a section on the National Physical Laboratory. Proposed to omit sections on the Lawes Agricultural Trust and the Chelsea Pysick Garden

3. Illustrations to be included discussed. Agreed illustration of Wadham College Oxford, be excluded, but protraits of Sir Isaac Newton and Sir Joseph Banks, in their youth, and of Sr John wilkins, Bishop of Chester and Sir William Grove be added; also that a facsimile of the Bond given for payment of annual subscriptions by Fellows in the early days fo the Society be included.

4. Printing - agreed to recommend that tenders for printing editions of 750, 1000 and 1500 copies be invited, the paper being supplied by the Royal Society's papermakers [9 Firms to be invited to tender listed]

5. Additional Members - agreed to recommend that Si8r William Dampier and Professor E N da C Andrade be added to the Committee.
