Description With reference to the vote of £4000 granted by the Government for Scientific Research, he is directed by the Lords of the Committee of Council on Education to request that they will be so good as to send in an account in detail, supported by the necessary receipts, for all payments made on account of clerical assistance up the 31 March. A draft for £50 is enclosed: only so much of this sum as was actually expended can be credited to the Grant for 1876-7.
Postscript;
He is also to enclose drafts in payment of the expenses of Advertising, Bookbinding, Printing and Postage.
