DescriptionLists members present plus Mr Gorvin, representing the Wheat Commission. Committee business including the rejoining of A W Flux to the committee, the confirming of a resolution to appoint two Food Committee representatives to the Ministry of Food, and to appoint H D Dakin a member of the Committee -- consideration of a report suggesting the importation of oats and maize for human food, and cereal supplies needed -- a letter from Sir Henry Rew on ergot in rye, and one from W J Ashley on cocoa -- the question of the milling standard -- adoption of a memo from Paton on price fixing -- adoption of the policy that flour currently being milled is no more likely to become ropy, though the addition of potato flour could increase the likelihood -- a letter from the Jamaica Agricultural Society on banana and sweet potato chips and flour. p79-84.
