2. Resolved to accept price of £284-10-0 offered by Mr J C J Anson for the diamonds

3. Secretary discussed balance in hand remaining and what should be done with it

4. Discussion of three letters referring to Professor David and Stuart intending to carry out the boring further in Funafuti, and the possibilityof employing the balance mentioned earlier to make a grant'; Chairman to explore this with the Government Grant Committee

5. The Chairman ' reported that he had made a report in the matter of publication by the Australian Museum to the Council of the Royal Society and that the Council had taken action in the matter. '
