Matters discussed;
1. Minutes of last meeting read and confirmed

2. Chairman reported on how the £70 donation to the Royal Society had been spent.

3. Chairman reported the Council of the Royal Society had agreed to publish a memoir on Funafute uniform with the Philosophical Transactions. Authors listed

4. Chairman reported that in consultation with Professor Judd half of the upper portions of the core to be returned to Sydney

5. Resolved to return to Sydney the half of the lower portion of the cores

6. Resolved to recommend to Council that the whole of the Funafute Collection belonging to this country be handed to the British Museum, on condition a) that the cores and the microscopic slides be kept together and b) that after the selection of the type specimens and accompanying slides that may be required for the Museum the remainder be distributed under the direction of Professor Judd, in consultation with the Museum authorities, the first selection being offered to the Museum of New South Wales (Sydney University)

7. Deep water gatherings of Forminafera be sent to Melbourne to be described by Mr Chapman

8. Sydney to receive the large specimens dragged up by Professor David from the reef

9. The Chairman and Professor Judd are authorised to utilise the balance of money for packing and carriage and to apply to the Donation fund for more if necessary.
