Matters discussed;
1. £800 granted from the Government Grant Committee and paid to the bankers

2. £250 cheque signed for repayment tof advance to the Reseerve Fund

3. Discussion of balance sheet to present, and suggestion to apply to British Association for a grant in aid [for copy of balance sheet, see at end of minutes]

4. Bank authorisation signed to Bank to place £450 to the credit of Professor Sollas in Fiji

5. Letters of thanks to be sent by Secretary to Mr Slee and Professor Anderson Stuart, and latter to be re-imbused for cost of cable sent at start of expedition; also letter fo thanks to the Agent General of New South Wales

6. Discussion of response to be sent in reply to Professor Stuart's request for particulars about the method to be adopted in the division of cores between London and Sydney. Copy of first portion of response, dated 18 June 1896, listed in minutes.
