1. Read and signed minutes of last meeting on 7 March 1912

2. ' The Committee then considered a statement by Dr Chree as to the closing down of certain Magnetic Observations in India - and it was agreed; That Sir Gerald Lenox-Cinyngham be asked to make inquiries unaofficially as to the reasons for closing these Observatories and to report to this Committee. '
