4. After discussion it was resolved that ' it be a recommendation to Council that Dr H Wilman be appointed to a Moseley Research Studentship at a stipend of £350 a year for two years in the first instance, as from 1 October 1938 renewable from year to year up to a maximum of five years, to carry out a research on the application of the method of diffraction of high speed electrons to the study of wear and lubrication, electrodeposits, heterogeneous catalysis, adsorption and crystal chemistry; and to continue with the development of the interpretative technique. '
5. Resolved that future candidates for Moseley Research Studentships be asked to supply a list of their published papers, together with refeences to the journals in which they have appeared. |
