Matters discussed;
1. Read and confirmed minutes of last meeting and five opinions obtained by correspondence in May 1939, June 1940, December 1941, January 1942 and June 1943

2. After consideration, it was resolved that ' it be a recommendation to Council that Sir Owen Richardson's appointment as Yarrow Research Professor be terminated at 31 July 1944, on the ground that he has attained the age of 65; and that it be a further recommendation to Council to make such a grant as may be thought adequate to enable him to continue his work for at least a furhter year as from 1 August 1944. '
