Matters discussed;
1. Read and signed minutes of previous meeting

2. Satisfactory arrangements with regard to carrying out of research by Professor A Fowler and Professor G I Taylor made, and approval of their appointments as Yarrow Research Professors by President and Council, reported by Mr Jeans

3. Committee considered further applicatins received for Professorships and resolved to recommend to Council that a Ptrofessorship be awarded to Professor O W Richardson

4. Professor Fowler's applicatin for a grant to purchase apparatus for his research work referred to the Government Grant Committee

5. Commander W H Sandford's application for grants in aid of developing certain patens refused as the application is not one which can be considered by this Committee
