DescriptionOpinion obtained by correspondence on a reference from the Coucil as to whether special posts should be created for Dr E A Moelwyn-Hughes and Dr E J Williams
Agreed to recommend to Council;
1. A special fellowship for Dr Moelwyn-Hughes of £500 per annum should be created

2. A special fellowship of £450 per annum for Dr Williams shuold be created

3. Each appointment to be for 2 years in the firs instance, renewable annually up to a maximum of 5 hears

Pasted into the minutes; printed item from Council Minutes, meeting held 16 January 1936, item 13, in which a letter was read from Lord Rutherford acting on behalf of the Smithson Comittee requesting Council to consider the possibililty of creating two special research appointments for Dr E A Moelwyn-Hughes and Dr E J Williams. Council resolved that the opinion of the Yarrow Research Fund Committee be obtained.
