Requested Mr Murray ' to prepare and send to the Committee a statement in writing giving an estimate, with details, of the probable cost of editing and seeing through the press, within a reasonable time the memiors of yet unpublished, as well as the Summary, odf completing the distribution of specimens and material; and generally of bringing the work of the Report to an end. ' which he agreed to do.

Secretary to address the Treasury with a letter based on Mr Murray's statement

1. Letter from Mr Murray to the Royal Society of 16 March 1889 concerning the winding up of the reports and publications, and estimates of the cost. [Transcript of letter in the minutes]
