DescriptionRecites events of the summer of 1896 regarding the list of institutions and persons to whom ' broken sets of the Report ought to be presented. The list was circulated amongst the members fo the Committee, and having with some slight modifications been approved of , was sent in to the Treasury with the subjoined letter.

A reply, given below, was received from the Treasury announcing that the copies could be presented according to the list presented.

Copy of the letter to the Treasury of 29 November 1896 from Professor M Foster pasted into the minutes, including the list of institutions to be presented with copies; and reply from the Treasury of 4 November 1896 confirming there are sufficient copies to distribute to the persons and institutions in the list.

Added note; dated 28 May 1897. ' Treasury agree to send certain parts (specified in letter from RS) to Expedition Antarctic Belge'
