Letter from the Treasury dated 15 June 1882 ref no 9260/82 read concerning the publication of the Challenger reports amd the cost.

Secretary read a draft reply to the Treasury letter which after amendment was approved [Printed copy pasted into minutes]

Secretary directed to write to Mr Murray [copy transcribed into minutes] emphasizing any steps regarding expense he must apply direct to the Treasury, as the Society's committee can merely express an opinion
