' Recommendations to Council;
1. Minute 2a
i. That Council be invited to request the London Mathematical Society to co-operate with the Royal Society in the production of a pamphlet entitled ' The Preparation of Mathematical Tables' and that it be proposed to the London Mathematical Society that, as a first step, they arrange to prepare a revision of their present pamphlet ' Notes on the preparation of Mathematical Papers ' in such a way as to embody, as far as practicable, the reommended practice of the Oxford and Cambridge University Presses.

ii. That Council be invited to consider whcih standing commitee of the Society shold deal with the problem of the future standardization of mathematical symbols. '
