Ordered that the Bishop of Salisbury speak with Lord Arlington, whether the Patent concerning his Majesty's Grant of Chelsey - college to the Royal Society and some additonal power to their Charter may not pass by the King's immediate Warrant, since the Lord Privy-Seal requires from the Officers of the Society the taking of the Oaths of Allegiance and Supremacy.

Ordered that the Operator to the Society constantly attend the President on Sundays to receive his orders for summoning the Council; and that he always summon the Council the night before they are to meet, on the penalty of loosing the payment allowed him for summoning.

Ordered that the recommemdatory Letter for Mr Samuel Colepresse agreed upon at the last meeting of the Council be sealed by the President, with the common seal of the Society.

The Lord Bishop of Salisbury subscribed one hundred pounds towards the building of the College.
