Discussed if a person paying fifty pounds to be considered a Benefactor according to the Satatutes though part of the sum be already due from him for arrears.

Ordered that the Treasurer pay into the Mercer's Company £400 now in the chest of the Society, taking their Bond for repayment with such interest as can be achieved, not less than five per cent, and that the Bond be deposited in the Society's chest.

Ordered that the Clerk give lists of the persons in arrears to the Committees that are to demand the arrears.

Ordered that the Treasurer give Deputations to each of the Committees to receive any sum in arrears and to give a discharge for them.

Ordered that the Treasurer pay thirteen pouunds one shilling for twelve chairs of cane work and one turkey worked carpet for the Society's use.
