Ordered that a Discourse of Mr Robert Hook about the Stars be printed by John Martin Printer of thr Royal Society.

Sir Wiliam Petty and Sir Christopher Wren were sworn Vice Presidents to the Royal Society by taking the Oaths of Allegiance adn Supremacy, according to the precept of the Addiional Charter.

Mr Colwall and Mr Hill informed the Council that the Mercer's Company had declared they had not occasion at present of taking any money, but the first they had they would take the £400 of the Societey and pay for the use of it.

Ordered that the members of the Council should be asked to enquire about a speedy and safe way of disposing of the £400 to the best advantage and to report to Council at the next meeting.

Mr Colwall produced a note from Dr Jasper Needham that he asked henceforth to be excused from his Obligation to the Society. The note was left with the Secretary.
