Ordered that Mr Perry to speak with Mr Everard (the Executor of George Ent Esq late deceased) concerning the books left by the said Mr Ent for the Royal Society and to have the books speedily removed to Gresham College. A receipt will be a sufficient discharge.

Mr Hooke reported that having communicated the Council's offer of £20 per annum to Mr Pappin for writing all letters for the Society, it was accepted. It wasa further considered that articles should be drawn up to express the conditions expected by the Society to be performed by Mr Pappin, to which he is to subscribe.
