The Council, after a long interruption caused by the contagion, met again in the usual place in Gresham College

The time of the summons for opening again the weekly meetings of the Society were considered, and it was resolved that it be left to the President to summon the Fellows to meet on the second Wednesday in March next, if he finds no cause to the contrarry.

Voted, that the fifty pounds in cash formerly presented to Mr Colwall, be delivered out to be added to another fifty pounds presented by the same, to pay for the collection of rarities, formerly belonging to Mr Hubbard.

Ordered that the Philosopohical Transactions Number 9 be printed by John Martyn and James Allestree.

Resolved that the Council meet on Monday next the 26th of this February without summons.

Memorandum: that Mr Hook be considered for the telescope to be made and fitted for the Earl of Sandwich, in order to make observations with it in Spain.
