' Dr Hook Moved the Councell that they would bestow on him the remains of a Quadrant contrived by himself but never finished, and many parts of it formerly being Lost whilst in the Custody of Sir Jonas Moor, and the remaining parts much detrimented by rust and bruises. The Councell caused Mr Hunt to bring the Same Immediately before them upon which after viewing of it And debating the matter and ballotting the same, it was Nemine Contradicente Voted that the Said Remaining parts of the Said Quadrant Should be immediately presented to Dr Hook fgor his one use and perfection and accordingly they did then present and deliver the Same to doctor Hook.

Mr Hunt desired that the prints for the fish Book might be taken into the Considertion of the Councell and after some debate, The Question was put whether for 10 or 20 books might be wrought off. It was agreed on that 20 Should; and Mr Hunt was ordered to print them off.

Sir Philip Syddenham was aproved a Member of the Society Nemine Contradisente.

Dr Sloane reported to the Society that all the Societys Books from the beginning to this are all brought up and that he has them in good order under his Custody.
