' The Councell took under consideration the matter of their farm rents due in Sussex. It was ordered tht Mr Pittfield should write and do in this affair what he sees proper either with Mr Goodwin or any body else and that his charges should be allowed.

Dr Sloane acquainted the Councell that he had paid two guineas to one Mr Clements for copying papers into the books of the Society.

It was ordered to be repaid him.

He also told the Councell tht he had imployed Mr Wansley in Transcribing the papers of the Society and in doing the business of a Clark since Mr Jones's departure but withall he had told him that he must not expect any certain Salary.

The Councell approved of the said person.

Mr Hunt was ordered a years Salary ending the 14th of July last.

The Treasurer was desired to deliver up Mr Creeds bond upon his Executors paying the arrears.

Mr Bemde proposed Dr Hanns as a member of the Society: he was approved.

Dr Drake was proposed as member of the Society to be approved of by the Councell which was done.

Dr Hook brought for the Society Caires book of calculus - integrales and the nova libraria maris Balthici.

The Treasurer was desired to pay him. '
