' Mr Isted was desired to carry the deeds concerning the fee farm rents in sussex due to the Society down with him and to see to recover the arrears, and to imploy some person to gather it, for the future. The Deed was inrolled the eleventh day of february in the 27th of King Charles the 2nd.

Mr Treasurer was desired to pay £1.13.6 to Mr Brown for the charges of a box of Surgeon barbers Instruments from China, now in the Repository and sent by Mr Buckley.

Mr Hunts Salary was ordered to be paid betwixt July the 14 1703 and January 14 1704: it was £20.

The Society being to adjourn to the 25th October it was ordered that Mr Hawksbee should have 5 guineas paid him for the trouble of his attendance and experiments he has made before the Society for some time last past.

Mr Hawksbee making a proposal to the Councell to shew the Society an Experiment every meeting day for next year either such as he should be directed to make or contrive himself in his new air pump, the Councell were willing that he should prepare to make those experiments for the ensuing Year and the Society would gratify him according to the proportion of his Services. '
