' Mr Haistwell made the affirmation appointed for a Member of the Councell as Customary.

Mr Barzett, Dr King, the Arch Bishop of Dublin, Mr Mortimer were balloted for and approved to be members to be proposed to the Society.

Mr Treasurer was ordered to pay Mr Isted £3.16.6 for charges and Mr Hunt £20 for half a years salary due January 14 1704.

It is ordered by the Councell that Mr Pittfield Treasurer to the Society be desired to give all reasonable security to Mr Thomas Isted of Lewis Gent., who is impowered by the Society to act and use proper means for the recovery of the Quitt rents due in Sussex to repay him his reasonable charges and to imdemnify the said Mr Isted from dammages may happen to him for the Same so long as he shall imploy Mr Isted. And it is further ordered that no money shall be drawn out of the Treasury heads till this matter be determined.

Mr Isted delivered the deed of the farme rents till further occasion. '
