' Dr Sloane reported that the Duke of Bedford woudl grant an Estate of Inheritance, or a Lease or Ground to the Society for 61 years, which they liked best: whereupon
The Council appointed the President, Mr Hill, Mr Bemde, Sir Christopher Wren, and Dr Slaone, or any three of them to consider how much Ground will be necessary for the Society, and whether an Estate of Inheritance or Lease of 61 years should be taken, and to agree with the Duke of Bedford for the same; and to make a Report to the Councill of the same next Wednesday when a Councill was ordered to be summoned. '
