Date23 February 1709
DescriptionPresent at the meeting: The President; Mr Bemde; Dr Plumtree; Mr Savery; Mr Hill; Dr Sloane; Dr Mead

' Part of the Lady Sadleirs Will was read, relating to a Lecture founded by her to be read in the Society. It was Ordered that the Treasurer should take care that a proper Assurance should be made to the Society for this Legacy, and Sir Peter King, employed by the College of Physitians, or any other, the Treasurer thinks fit, were thought proper persons to draw such Conveyance for the Society.

Mr Hunt's Salary from July the 14th to January 14 1709 being twenty pounds, was ordered to be paid.

The Councell thought it not proper to engage Dr Papin in their Service by a certain Salary, but referr themselves, as to his showing Experiments, and the gratification of him therefore, to their Resolution of January 12. '
