' The President acquaiinted the Society that Dr Woodward had moved the Court of Queens Bench for a Mandamus to be restored to his place in the Council.

Mr Hunt was Ordered to make what Reparations are needful in the Library.

Mr Frewen was Ordered to be paid by the Treasurer the Bill of Law charge - making £24.16.9 for the Fee-farm Rents in Sussex.

The Council thanked the President for taking care in the Business of the Mandamus.

The President, Mr Pitfield, Mr Isted, Mr Hill, Mr Waller, Dr Harris and Dr Sloane were appointed a Committee (or any three of them to be Quorum) to take care of defending the Prosecution brought by Dr Woodward, and to put out the Money of the Society to Intrest as they shall judge proper. '
