' The President acquainted the Councill, that he had summoned this Councill on occasion of the late Dr Brown's House in Crane Court in Fleet Street being now to be sold; being in the middle of the town, out of noise and might be a proper place to be purchased by the Society for their Meetings.

The President, Sir Christopher Wren, Mr Hill, Mr Pitfield, Dr Sloane, Dr Arbuthnot, Mr Waller, Mr Wren, Mr Isted, Dr Mead, Sir John Percival, and Dr Cockburn, four of them to be a Quorum, were Ordered a Committee to take care of this Matter.

A Letter was read from R. B. with some inclosed papers printed, describing Parelia seen at Durham September 26, 1709. The Members present took one a piece, and the rest were ordered to be kept by Mr Hunt.

Mr Hunt waas ordered to be paid £20 for his Salary from January 14th 1710 to July 14th, 1710.

Two Bills likewise for £4 and 4d [pence] for repairs were Ordered to be paid. '
