' It was Ordered that an Account should be brought in of what Letters have been sent to the Members of the Society in pursuance of the Order of last Council, and what Answers have been given.

Mr Waller, Mr Aston, and Mr Pitifeld were desired to adjust the Bills of the Workmen at the House in Crane - Court, and to consider of Building the Repository at the Same time.

The same Committee that was appointed in January 20th 1711 to take care of the Removal of the Library, was appointed to take care of the Removal of the things in the Repository at Gresham College, and placing them, as they conveniently can, in Crane Court.

Mr Balle gave the President for the Society Fifty Pounds towards the Discharge of the Debt owing for the Purchase of the Houses in Crane - Court. The Council thanked him, and it was delivered to Mr Hunt to be given to Mr Pitfield.

Mr Thomas Skegg was ordered to be paid ten pounds on account of the Society.

Mr Waller presented his Picture to the Society, for which he was thanked.

The President was desired to sign a Note to the Treasurer for Mr Papin for ten pounds to be paid him on consideration of some Experiments he hath lately made before the Society, taking his Receipt for the same.

The following Letter was sent to Mr Flamsteed, by Mr Hunt, being signed by the President, De Sloane, and Dr Mead.

Sir,
By Virtue of Her Majesties Letter to Us directed, dated the Twelveth Day of December 1710. We do hereby order and direct You to observe the Eclipses of the Sun and Moon this Year, and particularly that of the Sun on July the fourth ensuing; and we desire You to send such Your Observations to us at our Meetings at the House of the Royal Society in Crane Court in Fleet Street.
