' Sir Thomas Crisp, Dr Halley, Mr Nelson, and Mr Bayly were sworn of the Council.

The Council taaking Notice of an Order of Council of the 26th of February 1706 and of an other Order of Council of the 5th of March 1706 whereby the Professors of Gresham College were Exempted from paying Contribution - money, or Admission - money, or subscribing Bonds, upon account of the Societies being in Gresham College; Now the Society being removed to a House of their own, it was thought fit to propose the making Void and Repealing of the said Orders.

And the Question being put as to the first Order of February 16 1706 whether it should be Repealed and made Void, or not; It was Ballotted for and carried, Nemine contradicente, that it should be Repealed and made Void.

And the Question being put as repealing and making Void so much of the Second Order of the 5th of March 1706 as relates to the Excepting the Professors of Gresham College from giving Bond; It was Ballotted for and carried in the Affirmative that so much of it should be Repealed and made void.

The several Bills for Repairing the Houses in Crane Court were ordered to be paid tomorrow sevennight by the Treasurer: And it was Resolved that the Society should borrow such Money of Mr Hunt as should be wanting to discharge them, he having Bonds given him for the same. '
