' Signor Grimani the Venetian Ambassador, Dr Rynaldus Dulioli Med. Prof. Pat. Dr Richard Richardson, Dr Richard Midleton Massey, were proposed, ballotted for, and approved of to be proposed to be Members of the Society.

It was ordered that Mr Rowley the Mathematical Instrument Maker shall make his Report of the Number and condition of the Instruments at the Observatory at Greenwich ; and it was desired that the Committee appointed should take care of this Matter, as well as of his Observations for the Year elapsed.

The President and Council ordered Twenty Pounds to be paid to Dr Thorpe for half a Years Salary. '
